Balance on a Cold Day
Brrr! It was chilly this morning when I headed out for this week's yoga class. Good thing we were doing a lot of moving around. We concentrated on twists and core (stomach) work, including some more work with partners. We held onto each others' hands while we twisted. That was fun! I like it when we work with partners. I get to know people.
After a very quick stop at the thrift shop (which will be open through the middle of the month as of this second) to drop off donations, I headed for the Collingswood Library next. I just shelved and organized DVDs. Helped people find what they were looking for. One little girl requested the Disney Sleeping Beauty. The Library does have it, but it didn't appear to be in.
Went straight home after leaving the library. It was sunny at this point, but windy and still pretty cold compared to what it has been. I spent the rest of the afternoon watching Bowery Boys movies and baking low-fat Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies from that Prevention Magazine recipe.
Work was on-and-off busy, but other than some mildly annoying beginning-of-the-month customers, there were no major problems.
This might have been due to the Eagles playing tonight, instead of Sunday. At press time, the Eagles are beating the Houston Texans 17-10.
