Too Darn Hot!

Started my day with breakfast and more Goof Troop. Goofy feels like he's full of "Hot Air" when he ends up babysitting a flight-obsessed Pistol and takes her and Max the local air show. They spend the entire show chasing after her and trying to keep her from chasing anything that can go in the air...but she ends up saving her dad when a flying stunt during the filming of a commercial for his used car lot goes wrong.

Took a look at website builders after the episode ended. There's so much out there! I have no idea what would be the best for me. This will probably require a lot more research and checking out who uses what and if they're free or some attributes cost an extra fee.

Had a quick lunch at 11, then got ready for work while watching Goof Troop. Goofy and Pete recall their days as Little League players in "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." They shove their sons into playing, but the boys have to make them think they're still in the game when they don't end up making the team.

Headed to work as soon as I finished. Work was a bit of a pain. I ended up in the register at least twice. We weren't really busy after the lunch crowd ended. The computer that does our schedule just didn't assign nearly enough help. I also did returns and alternated between sweeping and gathering carts with the head bagger. Working outside wasn't nearly as fun as yesterday, either. It was much hotter and far more humid, and this time, that little breeze wasn't much of a help.

Hurried straight home as soon as my shift was over. I didn't do a lot of writing, but I did get some. Ahsoka offers to take them as far as outside of Dagobah. She's now "Fulcrum," the mysterious, shadowy second-in-command to the White Queen. She's working for the police force to get the goods on Vedder...and because she wants to help get justice for those who were hurt by Vader's plotting.

Jessa called while I was eating. She was working later tomorrow and wondered if I wanted to go out to eat? We agreed to go out to breakfast at the Pop Shop or Legacy Diner near-by tomorrow morning.

Broke for dinner at quarter of 7. Sauteed boneless chicken thighs with green peas, lime juice, water, and mushrooms while continuing with Goof Troop. Max and Pete film Goofy doing a wild stunt for an imitation America's Funniest Home Videos-type show in "Wrecks, Lies, and Videotapes." Max wants the big vacation prize for his impoverished father, but Pete steals the prize for himself. Peg, Goof, and the kids work together to shame Pete into giving up the prize.

Max wants "Max-inumum Protection" when Pete makes him and PJ think there's robbers in the area. Turns out, there are burglars in their neighborhood - the people who sold Pete his state-of-the-art security system. It takes Goofy's home-made security system to get rid of them.

Moved on to Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga after dinner. Decided to try the Blue Minikit Challenges instead of going right into the Super Stories. I haven't had much luck with these in the past. You have to collect 10 bright blue minikits in under ten minutes, without the aid of any extras. I'm better at it than I thought. I got "Negotiations" right away and only needed two tries for "Invasion of Naboo" and "Escape from Naboo." I just couldn't figure out "Retake Theed Palace" - I'll work on that tomorrow.

Returned to Goof Troop after a shower. Goofy tells Max a story of their ancestors in order to get him to continue with his violin lessons. "Goofin' Hood and His Melancholy Men" are bandits...or the men think they are. Goofy, a fiddle player, thinks they're an orchestra. Pete, the Sheriff of Nottingham, thinks otherwise. Tired of them stealing his tax money, he kidnaps Princess Pistol and uses her to lure them into a trap.

Ended the night with Ship Ahoy. I go into further details on this unusual spy-themed vehicle for Red Sketon and Eleanor Powell at my Musical Dreams Movie Reviews blog.
