I am cynical enough to think this is so the price of the dolls and accessories for collectors will go sky high.
I wonder if they mean to create another character around that era. I have always wanted them to do a Jewish girl around 1904 in a city environment. Or perhaps a girl whose mother is a suffragette, or one from the "old country," around 1914.
